Dodnaze Community Association is a registered charity operating from their local community centre. They provide mental and physical wellbeing activities at affordable prices, information on how to access support, and a safe, warm space. They also offer free meals and food parcels to those suffering from financial hardship, run a toddler group and art sessions for children and families and offer a usable community space with affordable rates for local residents. The centre acts as a community hub which provides opportunities and support open to all people who need/want them. There is a strong environmental focus, putting sustainable practise and climate awareness at the forefront. Overall they aim to create and sustain a strong, supportive and inclusive community where people feel welcome, valued and inspired.

The £200 donation from Rotary will be spent on hosting a Christmas event for the people and families in the local area, with a warm and inviting space to bring people together, alleviate loneliness and help with financial hardship during the festive period.
