£400 for HB Saints Gladiators U12 Girls from Hebden Bridge Rotary Club.

The U12 Gladiators is a new girls’ football team set up by HB Saints volunteer Emma Kaye.  No other clubs in the local area run girls’ specific teams.  The team had been approved to enter the league, but desperately needed some correct size goals ready for the start of the season.

Emma says “we are super grateful for the help the Rotary club has provided - we have 13 girls turning up week in week out and using the goalposts at least once a week.  The goalposts will last for years.  The more girls see other girls play the more likely they are to come forward with an interest, meaning the possible creation of more girls’ teams within our local club.  Super happy players and parents.  Thank you!
