Exciting plans are afoot to create new resources for primary-aged children and to enrich their education.   A new short film will unlock the story of The Coiners for visiting children, gain their interest, and hook them into the topic. From here teachers can then build their knowledge and skills through their visit and use the film in their classrooms to enrich teaching through drama and discussion. The film will also serve as a great introduction to the topic to any other visitor to the museum.                         

Our Club has pledged £1,000 towards the project, subject to the Friends of Heptonstall raising the balance of the funds needed.  They will appreciate your support too!
