Light up the Valley
What a great day! If you missed it on Saturday, you have another chance on Thursday!
Rotary Club stewards helped set up and ensure that the Light up the Valley event on November 18th went well. Lots of happy children enjoyed the fair-ground rides and met Santa in his grotto, while the grown-ups enjoyed delicious food and drinks, and browsed the delights on offer at the market stalls, while enjoying on-stage entertainment, including the Hebden Bridge Band, a performance by St Michael’s Amateurs, school and Ukranian choirs, a visit from the Frozen princesses, ethereal Christmas carols by Geraldine Snell and the astonishing Flame Oz. There was even a visit from the Christmas Tree Stilt Fairies.
If you couldn’t make the Mytholmroyd event, be there for Light up the Valley’s return on Thursday 23rd November in Hebden Bridge, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. It is free of cost, thanks to support from Hebden Royd Town Council, Hebden Royd Business Forum, Benchmark Travel, Lambert Printers and Lumalite, with many hours of support by members of the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge.
