Mytholmroyd Community Centre

Exciting News about Mytholmroyd Community Centre! Helped by a £5,000 grant from the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, MCC is soon starting Stage 1 of their ambitious plans for the centre with the development of a dedicated spin studio upstairs! This means their very popular Cycle30 & Cycle45 classes will have a cool, ventilated, and funkily lit space with permanent spin bikes, freeing up space elsewhere. Soon to follow, subject to funding, will be a new Sports Hall floor, an extension of the busy gym and new space for the heavily subscribed yoga and Pilates classes.  Visit mycc.org.uk to learn about their varied fitness class schedule, with over 30 classes a week, taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers. Read too about the climbing wall and opportunities to play badminton, squash, 5-a-side, netball and table-tennis. MCC also accommodates clubs offering walking football, karate, fell-running and weightlifting, plus football coaching and careers coaching. They offer a variety of versatile rooms for private venue hire and even host a quirky and unique sauna in the carpark (see https://www.rootsandrocks.co.uk/sauna).

The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge wishes them every success in their ongoing fundraising for this fantastic community resource.
