Thanks so much to all the kind poppy-wearers who helped raise £4,670 locally during the recent Poppy Appeal in Hebden Bridge and the local area.  Poppies and collecting boxes were distributed to and collected from participating shops and businesses by members of the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge.  Thanks too to the wide range of generous local organisations who contributed an additional £1,106 towards the Remembrance Day wreaths. 

These donations will help the Royal British Legion continue their work supporting members and veterans of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force. From providing expert advice and guidance, to recovery and rehabilitation, through to transitioning to civilian life – they can be by their side every step of the way.
